my HDD suddenly "gone"! - Page 3

i decided to housekeep my HD & reduce it to 3HDs so that it wont stress the PSU.

btw, just when i thought the "corrupted" HDD was ok after i reformated. i realised it "write" v slowly when i copy & paste a 4Gb file to it. took 30min or so to do that while i tried on another HDD on the same file, it only took 3min.

any way to check the HD condition? i'd done a defragmentation , there's no bad sector. i intend to RMA it but what shld i tell them?

Just tell them the HDD is very very slow, tell them your experience, they will RMA it for you.

finally i hv time to RMA my HD. i just told them the error & they exchanged a new one to me on the spot!!
