My hard drive is overheating

I got a Maxtor hard drive operation system is xp with sp2 and my hardisk is overheating about 124 deg till 130 deg i dont know why i got 3 hdd and this only has this problem all of them are maxtor and with a cooler

not to disrespect Maxtor (Seagate) but you need to supply them with plenty of airflow...

Make sure you place it away from another 2 HDD at least a empty HDD slot between them. Check again the temperature at BIOS setting

BIOS ? ermm ... i dont know .. maybe possible..

but usually we check it through SMART software.. or SpeedFan ..
