Then we have the silver, that will have some anti-bacterial effect. Problem is that silver is becoming pretty regular for use in this manner, which favours bacteria that are silver resistant. I'd rather see a sealed ("water proof") mouse with an overall smooth surface that's tolerant to harsh chemicals. Then it's easy to clean it from any potential or real bio hazards. Perfect for use in hospitals and clinics! /Olle
