Default POST info

Hi, all,
I'm doing a home-study course in IT and thought this might be a good place to get some extra information for my studies.
The following is a question I have encountered in my learning material which I am struggling to find information for. If anybody here could tell me how they would answer this, and explain why they would choose their answers, perhaps I might find it helpful. Any useful links would be really good too. Thanks, a lot

Which two of the following problems will be detected by the POST when a computer is first turned on in the morning? (Select two choices.)

a. A stuck key on the keyboard.
b. Intermittent CPU failure due to excessive heat.
c. A hard disk with a corrupted modem driver.
d. A video adapter card that is improperly seated.

well, my course is half IT too!!

my answer is a & d

a: becoz there's option to bios to halt on diff types of errors, which includes keyboard in particular..

b: cpu failure yes, but whether due to heat i'm not too sure.. but nowadays bios will auto-shutdown the system when its overheated

c: is definitely out, that's a software issue

d: u cant even post if the video card is not properly put in place
