The AGP version of 7300GT is there too, and sometimes with DDR3. Try to get these versions instead.

The X1600/Pro is great, but still pricey. RM500 I think.

The 7200 is a better replacement for onboard video. If you are into gaming a 7300GT will do okay. Plus, those Mac rigs are powered with either 7300GT or a X1650 ones.

The 7600GT is still very high for budget gamers - that Asus 7600GS (AGP) is RM399 in one of the stores in Low Yat. Or the XFX 7300GTs - they are selling tons of that too. If you can get the 7600GS - it'll be pretty wonderful too. You gotta look around. Colorful brand graphics card is nice and cheap too.

Most of AM2/939 system are using 24-pin ATX power supply. Well, they doesn't drink that much watts - Semprons are 35/65W and X2s are 35/65/89W. Eh if you are purchasing X2 you better buy that one with the 65Ws. They have stickers showing about watt rating - EE (energy efficient) edition.

off-topic: Y'know, Edifier's headquarters is just around 0.6KM from my area where I'm staying. It's located above a small stationary shop. (Go figure that out!!)

No real difference in power usage between sockets. More importantly are the stuff you put in your system. Like high-end graphics cards? Multiple hard drives?

BTW, we have some ASUS stuff for sale. Going to be cheaper than market price. Give us some time to get it up.
