Default Got a problem

Over the last day or so I have developed a problem with my pc. I copyed the explanation from this http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=133238fourm;

No fix though.

Device connect/Device disconnect sounds

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I have noticed that on occasion, without any good reason, that my USB devices will start "connecting" and "disconnecting". This is evidenced by the annoying windows sounds "windows xp hardware insert.wav" and "windows xp hardware remove.wav" alternately sounding off.

The computer starts this annoying ping-pong sound game of the device connecting and disconnecting.

It is enough to drive you crazy.

It should be noted that the devices are fully plugged in and turned on.

About the only way to cure this is to unplug the offending device. Plugging it in later seems to "correct" this problem, for a while.

Any ideas on what is going on???

Thanks,"

-----------------------

I only have a usb keyboard and mouse attached all the time, camera only when I upload pictures. Any thoughts? I get the sounds and my mouse freezes for a few seconds.

No, It's just like the guy explained in that post I copyed and pasted here.

I will just be moving my mouse around and I get those windows sounds. I kinda think my mouse is the problem, But I can't reproduce the problem.

It is real random so far.

Well I think I figured it out.

My mouse just died. No more red glow, It just stopped working just like that.

I think the cord is broken (inside the cord) right at the mouse's butt , Wiggle the cord and the led flickers and then goes back out. R.I.P

could be the card or the usb connector. If you are using the front panel usb connector, check and make sure the cable is secured. Have you try the usb stick on other system?

I wonder maybe it could also be your psu.
