problem with family pc

My home pc has this problem for a long time ady..
Sometimes before entering the windows, this thing pops out. Then i have to switch it off and on again before the problem is gone.

Is it really hard disk's problem as written there? If it is, why my hard disk still can work until now?

Btw, my hard disk is very old ady.. only got 10 gig..

Ahhh.. It may need a longer time to spin up. Look for the Delay IDE Initial BIOS setting. Take a look here - http://www.techarp.com/showFreeBOG.aspx?lang=0&bogno=56

OK. So the problem is at the old IDE hard disk. Hmm.. Maybe i just just buy a new one for my mom..
