What are source you watching videos from? dvd rom, dvd burner, HDD?

Does it make a difference?

I had to buy a newer burner lately because my old dvd rom just could not handle the disks my friend had burnt for me lately.

New drive prob solved.

Just a thought.

i'm not sure if i found the prob but from the computer info status taken from the help and support center, i found that the memory(RAM) detected is 16MB but the minimum requirement is 64MB. What can I do? I have 2 RAM, 512 & 256.

Try to reseat the ram. And take one stick out and see if that works, If not try just the other stick.

Be sure to use the primary ram slot.

Might help.

Might have a bad ram.

Onboard graphics?
Video hangs?
Max out your shared memory for onboard graph to 32MB
(or higher if possible) and set AGP aperture to 128MB.
Then try again.

i check the dump many times and found that mostly its because of kmixer.sys. this is a kernal audio file(http://www.file.net/process/kmixer.sys.html), is it safe if deleted?
