Hehe... will, I'll *ahem* to you. Have to scan my other PC for virus first. Seems to be so rampant these days. xcopy.exe, temp2.exe, etc.

Well, I don't surf pr0n for a long time already.

I really don't know where the infection started. Maybe we never scan ppl's USB key when we copy stuffs. I'll have to scan before copy anything next time.

yup. better configure the anti virus to scan any new drives/devices you plug in to your machine

You really need to scan removable drives ESPECIALLY!!!
Whenever I plug my USB thumbdrive into my uni's computer lab, OMG....
It directly gets infected by a few viruses.
I need to set the autoplay option for my computer to "Off" to avoid from being infected.

I'm not sure 'bout that. But I know how to set your removable drive not to autoplay so that it won't run scripts to spread any viruses once you plug into your computer. When you can stop it from running once you plug it in, then you can scan it without fear of getting infected.

I guess it had no idea how much space you would really need. Meaning, they may not need to recreate the ENTIRE partition or hard drive bit for bit. They will probably only retrieve files that they can find.
