computer is restarting

I have changed the processor fan with a new one

after that when i enter windows it stays for about 2 min and then the computer is restarted by itself

Go into your BIOS by pressing F2 or DEL (whichever your mobo supports) when you boot-up your PC. Then find Hardware Monitor or something, check the temperature of your CPU.

The reason it restart might be your fans does not work... once CPU too hot it will restart itself...

After checking as per Dashken recommend and look at the CPU fan it run or not... or do you remove the heatsink and it does not sit properly
