Default Dude where's my computer parts?

A trip to Singapore last year revealed something huge to me:

I went to Sim Lim Square, thinking that it's the Singapore version of Low Yat Plaza.

however when I walked around, there are camera stores, and more camera stores. Even more surveillence camera stores ahead.

Then found the comp arena. But they don't sell much items in loose (like single processor, single graphics card, coolers). too few choices - only they are selling them in one set!

I asked them whether they sell the Galaxy 7300GTs, but these are nowhere to be found in S'pore.

But the strange thing is the Singaporeans get tons of computer stuff (sometimes rare) from there!

Am I not exploring enough? Or those stuff can be obtained online?

Levels 4 and 5 are where it's at.

7300GT should be plentiful...Galaxy, not 100% certain, but I'm sure you can find other brands.

I heard that S'pore has rare parts, especially those 2nd-hand ones. Some guys decided to run across that Selat Tebrau just for their old handphone batteries.

If they are selling K6-3 there (rare in M'sia), I'll go and have a look..

They definitely have more stuff over in SLS than over at Low Yat Plaza.

Easy to reach SLS too. Just take the bus from the JB bus station and ride it all the way to the Queen Street station. Then walk across to Sim Lim Square.

I took these MRTs, and followed the maps. The Sim Lim Square is bigger, but I didn't manage to explore further. Maybe I'll go to S'pore in my another semester holidays.

Hmm.. The nearest one should be the Bugis station, under Bugis Junction. A 5-10 mins walk.
