They sure will be slow processors in 3 years, but, there is advantage in getting a E6xxx over a E4xxx, just to cite some:

FSB of E6xxx is 1066, instead of E4xxx's 800;
4MB of cache on E6xxx, instead of E4xxx's 2MB;
E6xxx has Virtualization Technology, while E4xxx's don't;

Those do make a difference in the end. and a big one.

Yeah I agree, not going to make much difference for him. but just citing the advantages of E6xxx.. of course, E4xxx is also a very good processor.

E4xxx is a great processor. The best thing is, 2MB cache and VT. Well, the FSB is only 800MHz, but not too much of a performance hit anyway.

- PC Casing
- Enermax PSU
- 8cm stock fan (2 units)
- Logitech Navigator
- A4 Tech X5 Mouse
- Seagate 250GB 16MB HDD
- Asus EN7600GT 256MB

Thing's that is still not on my hands:
- Intel Core 2 Duo E4300
- Asus P5NE-SLI
- Asus DVD-RW
- 1 GB Cosair DDRII 667 Value Ram (2 units)
- Samsung 932B Plus LCD Monitor

I'm so eager to build my PC....

delays really suck.

i had a one month delay to get my graphics card for my current computer.

i almost died cause i had all the parts but no graphics card. bastards!!
