Problem with temp, if I go any further, temp rises to 70+, Orthos failed less than 3 minutes. ![]() I think it's enough now... will reinstall windows and make it my primary system.

Reputation: 2352 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 60 | Yeah.. but temp is high. Was going at 415x8 but thought why not use 370x9 and see how it is. I stopped at 356x9 initially before I changed the multiplier to 8 and reached 415x8 stable. Increasing the cpu vcore until 1.47v but still failed Orthos. So, last night went back to multiplier 9 and managed to reach 370x9 stable with voltage already increased. Sigh... temp so high, can't even reach 3.4Ghz. ![]() Now temp is 55-60oC / 67-72oC at 370x9 at 1.4**v. ![]() I think I better stop at 3.3Ghz and lower the cpu vcore until I fail Orthos and then up back maybe 1-2 level. Hopefully the temps will go down. ![]() Hate the piston-type lock on the Cooler Master Hyper TX cpu cooler, press until my thumb also red. Why can't they all come with screws like the Ultra 120? Btw, is there any difference between 415x8 and 370x9 besides the few Mhz difference? Memory bandwidth is decreased if I use 370x9 right? ![]()

Currently running mine at 400Mhz at 1.425v VCore, normal temp 41C Load temp 60C which is good for a stock heatsink |
