Default Aztech DSL500EW restart

I have a modem, Aztech DSL600EW, which always restart when I get online.

I've tested it with USB, Ethernet and Wireless without connecting my phone line to the modem router and it works fine without any problem. However, when I connect my phone line to the modem router and connect to the modem, it will restart after a short while. It will last at most few minutes before it restarts.

Can someone please help?

I've sent it for repair @ Aztech but the problem remains, except they have upgraded my firmware. I didn't noticed the problem wasn't fixed because the modem wasn't online when I tested it on their site.

Can someone please tell me what i can do to fix this problem?

thanks

Bring the modem back to the shop, and insist that this thing must go online before attempting to be diagnosed.

Hmm.. What firmware version is it currently using?

And when you connect to the Internet, do you use any P2P software? Certain routers and modems have been known to "die" after being hit with too many connections.

Hmm.. Really sounds like a faulty modem then. Nothing much can be done except to send it back for repair / replacement.
