Default hangs if sleep/standby mode

my computer hangs if sleep/standby mode, the red LED will be constant , the yellow led is blinking, the monitor yellow led will be blinking. the graphic card fan will on off

nothing happen if i press the keyboard/mouse/power button/restart button. had to off the plug =/

i think i got this problem after getting a new grpahic card/ cleaning my pc =/ not sure

It could be a graphics driver bug. Have you updated the drivers?

Should be graphic related since you got yourself a new graphic card. Driver issue is definately the most likely possibility. And is your card the same type? like changing from ATI to ATI or did you change from ATI to Nvidia (vice versa)? sometimes the previous driver will cause problems if they are not the same type and they arent removed properly.

from geforce4 to 9600 so nvidia to ati
i did remove properly
unintall driver before i change the card

just updated the latest version but still hang if i go standby
however if i hibernation, it's working fine

i find something weird, in the attached pic, how come the card is installed in PCI not AGP(at the location) and this card has 2 drivers, secondary and 1 more normal
