Hmm why do you say 5.1 is for gamer? what about those AC3 encoded 5.1 dolby movies? Aren't 5.1 speakers useful to movie buffs too?

5.1 is the best for anything really.
But 2.1 will do the job as well...5.1 could wake up my neighbors at night.

Mind you, a good 2.0 system could wake up an entire block

I think that the Creative ones are better. I've sold 2.1 5.1 and 7.1 solutiopns from Creative and I'm impressed with the quality of the product.

What do you think?
