Default what cpu is the best,

Hi everyone,

I new here,Just Join the groups,I need you comments and suggestion that I need to buy a new cpu just cpu only and my budget is around 2k,I do all lots of 3d,as per my intell pentium 3 which is dell optiplex 110 has kaputt, And can;t be repaired,So most of my friends would say that it's better to buy the intell duo core and so on,But for me I not sure which One ,Do any of you have any suggestion,what should I buy,For your info,I have kids means that they would play gamez when I'm not around, Any suggestion. Guys....

I think he means the whole "CPU", as in the computer minus the monitor, keyboard and mouse. However, I'm not sure if he's referring to RM or USD 2K....

the fastest/most powerful cpu is not always the best choice, what you need to look for is a cpu with a good performance/price ratio within your pre determine budget.
