Default LCD problem

In another thread I mentioned I was having some problem with my spanking new LCD.

I thought the problem was with my graphic card not up to expectation but patching it to my laptop revealed the problem.
The same problem recurs say when I'm in bios setup or DOS mode. I think I'm going to cart the LCD to Samsung on Monday for a warranty claim. What do you think?..LCD electronics fault?.

Looks like LCD problem. Tried different cable?

I can't seem to find your other thread/post stating your problem.

But anyhow, have you tried tweaking the settings on your LCD yet?

These TN panels are notorious for not being ready 'out-of-the-box' and they require heavy tweaking including settings such as colour.

If that doesn't help, it could really be a cable problem as Chai mentioned.

The wavy/jagged edges from your picture does seem that it might be the problem.

Again, here, do check your settings again like resetting everything to default and check and see if there any devices nearby that might cause interference.

If you are using the vga/D-sub connection there should be an auto button that will fix that right up.
