TwinMos closing down

TwinMOS has searched for opportunities towards acquisition and has tried to reorganize its operational structure, however, the continuing DRAM price drops are forcing the company to shut down the business.

Most of TwinMOS' employees have already switched to work for NAND Flash module maker Silicon-Power Computer.

Although the scale of investment to establish a memory module plant is not huge, ongoing operational upkeep needs large amounts of cash. With the DRAM industry in a slump, the battle is on to see how many more companies fall, commented industry watchers.

BH5 is made by Winbond, not TwinMOS. Although they have modules based on BH5.

so how am i gonna claim warranty for my ram in the future if the ram died?

life time warranty aint helping when the manufacturer closed down

That's why it's called "limited" lifetime warranty.

i'm using Twismos DDR2 memories.I hope the modules don't get corrupted as service may be a problem.Thanks for the news though.Didn't know that they are closing down.

Sell them & replace them with Kingston or some other big brands.
