I hope so.

Actually I am more worried about the psu and 9800gtx clearance.

hmm, if you wanted SLI then by all means go for the newer board. Is it possible to change?

Actually the PSU is bottom mounted like mine I think and shouldn't be an issue

Not sure on the 9800gtx my dual slot 9600gt sits much shallower than the cpu sink (In slot#1 haven't added a second card yet).... including a pic

See that and the fan is mounted over the Mobo. I see there are extensions on the sides of the case does the fan sit in one of those?

Because if not your screwed on your CPU cooler

From the pics the side panels seem raised out from the chassis. Is the fan flush with those raised panels if so then it will give more depth for the larger fan which is a good idea. Will allow your cpu cooler to and other taller components to fit np. If not you may have some issues with clearance thats all. Hard to tell I don't have the case here

Wow I guess I'll cross that bridge, when I get there.
The large side fan only sticks out about 1/2",into the case.
Waiting for all the guts to be delivered 5/22 by Fed Ex.
