Default video card problem

hey guys, i've been having occasional problems with my graphics card. it's the second one on the same system that's having the same symptoms.

about once in two weeks (average) when i boot up the beast, monitor receives no signal from the vga card, the light at the bottom of the monitor just keeps flickering and i can't see a darn thing. the problem goes away after trying to boot him up two or three more times and it works just fine for days.

i wouldn't be worried if that was the first time this has happened. it also happened with my old vga card on the same computer, the vga card went dead a few months later. it's not a monitor problem since i've switched to a new one.

could it be the motherboard causing these problems? is it killing my vga?

i own DFI lan party ut 250gb

If your graphics card installed properly?

And when you changed your monitor, did you also change the DVI/VGA cable?

You may want to check the MB for bad caps. This could possibly be part of your problem. DFI are normally pretty good for using high quality caps ,,, there are some however that have been made with Teapo caps in them.
