Need suggestion for HTPC case - Page 3

When it comes to HD video, there are only two resolutions. 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720. So if you wanna use the LCD monitor / TV to watch HD videos, you just need it to support either one of those two resolutions.

Monitors can support higher resolutions but these are best used as computer monitors with the secondary function of watching HD videos. IMHO, for pure HD video display, best get a display with native 1080 or 720 resolutions.

Yeah, thats why in the market there is 2 different type of LCDs tv...HD ready (720p) and FULL HD (1080p)
