Have you tried the Spinrite yet? I heard that they could salvage stuff even from a broken HDD...
I'm not sure if spinrite would be able to fix it. Afterall, it's not detected at all!

I do have a backup of my important stuff about a week ago (pictures, documents), thankfully, but I lost all my videos and downloads and it's going to take time to reinstall the OS and all the software.

At least your most important(non-replaceable) data is safe.

Well, I read that some recovery programs could really salvage data even it's not or partially functioning HDD. Not sure how they did it...

If all else fails and you still want the videos and the data, you need to send it to a data recovery center.
