Yeah, I said the same when I saw it. It's still a pretty interesting concept though!

But surely they have SATA ports, so just get a bracket and mount to rear PCI slots.

And newer casings have E-sata ports as well.

So its the end of USB thumb drives?

The interface is only half the story. If they do not use really fast flash memory for this drive, then the use of eSATA interface is pointless.

From the specs, it only looks like the read speeds are faster than the other OCZ UBS drivers. Write speeds are about the same

Is usual, writing to flash involves complex algorithm, that's why speed remains. Won't wanna dig into microelectronics ..so I wont go into further..
