Get a lower end Corsair PSU like HX520 should be more than sufficient for single card.

Q6600 is outdated, get the newer Q8200.

First thank you,and second can you link me to the HX520. I'm thinking about getting a seconde GPU in the near future maybe 3-4 months, which PSU it's able to run 2 Radeon HD 4870 1GB Crossfired?

I'm a little concern about going with a full tower is ther any mid towers that will fit both of the HD 4870 1GB with ease and give a decent airflow?

Thank you

UPDATE:

Found this 2 cases I like, will they be able to fit both GPU?

I wondering why would you want to add a second GPU? It's a waste of money.

For the case, I'd go with an Antec 300. Much cheaper and it will fit the 4870x2. You might want to add a fan as an intake to improve airflow.

The antec has good specs but it's not great looking. I dont mind spending a couple more dollar's to get a better looking case, I dont want anything too extravagant either.

Is upgrading from Quad Q8200 2.33GHz 1333FSB 4MB L2 to a Q9400 2.66GHz 1333FSB 6MB L2 really worht it? It's $80 more for the upgrade.

Really, you consider the apevia to be better looking than the three-hundred? That apevia case looks horrible.

For even a single card, get a good PSU. Do not get a Xion PSU. They are complete garbage. I'd go with the suggestion of getting 500-650w Corsair PSU. I own the VX550 and love it. I've also owned numerous Antec and Enermax PSUs. Like I said in a previous post, don't go cheap on your PSU. If one thing 13 years of experience has taught me, it's that you never want to go cheap on your PSU or motherboard.

Also, even if you plan on going crossfire (which I too think is a waste of money), you can get an 850w Corsair PSU and be fine. Also, go with the Q8200. Similar performance as the Q6600 plus it's going to consume less power.

In one word: Yes.

Xbit labs has a good performance summary of the Q8200 vs. the Q9400 vs. the Q6600. I'd post the link, but I can't until I get a couple more posts.

Thanks for the suggestions, about the case I'm really looking at the SIGMA UNICORN UNICORN as my first choice, the apia full tower is not very good looking I gree, but the mid towers I posted are pretty nice.

The only reason to getting 2 4870 1GB is to be prepare for the latest games. thank's to you guys, I will get only 1 4870 1GB. . How about a PSU Thermaltake I have heard great things about those too.

I could get a Apevia Warlock 900W for about the same price. Are the Apevia Warlock any good?

Thank you for ur help.

Thanks, I'll spend the $80 dollars more and get it. Links will be nice thou.

PS: Should I get a cooling fan for the CPU. I do not plan on overclocking. maybe intels provided one is enought for me?

I got a question? A friend says I dont really need to go Quad core and I will be much much better off going with a Dual core Duo E8500 CPU 3.16GHz 1333FSB 6MB L2 Cache. This computer is going to be used pretty much for gaming. Will I be better off with the Dual core? I could also upgrade to Quad Core anytime thanks to the motherboard supporting it. What do u guys think? The price difference between getting the Quad core or the Dual Core is nothing.

I feel like am asking way too many questions. I really just want the perfect Computer, It's a huge invenstment. I'll like to get the best for the price and preformance.
