Default imac or custom build windows machine???!!

Im saving towards an imac which is £1400.
But ive been thinking whether i should spend the money on building a more powerful windows machine for a fraction of the price.

I currently have a windows dualcore machine.
and a macbook.

Not sure what to do, as i already have £600, which is enough money to buy 80 to 90% of a custom build system.

How ever i find the mac operating system allot easier to live with now.

So just some general chatter about what you guys think would be great.
cheers

Hmm, this i would say depends on the usage of your new system...what is the main usage of it (since you already have 2 running rigs o_O)well, if not mistaken, we're able to run macs on Windows pc with a help from some device that enable users to easily install OSes like Mac OS into Windows..can't recall the name..damn..

I think the answer to your question is simple if you know whether you want Mac OS or not.

Yeah, if you want to use Mac OS, you don't have any choice.

But if you are okay with Windows, then the possibilities (hardware-wise) are pretty much wide-open.
