at least it is re-certified second hand

its fine, choosing a laptop is always hard, its good to have other choices

edit: fingerprints should only works for windows login.

HD screen as in 1920x1080 resolution?
the acer 6935g probably have 1366x768 considering the price

the whatever happens club sounds weird to me. they say the 28 days promised repair doesnt count for refurbished or preownded products and i get vouchers instead....... but then what happens to all my work and etc....????

i always hated the tehguys and they are closer to getting more hated lol

the fingerprint thing seems really good. i wonder how accurate it would be at this price...

EDIT:
the whatever happens club doesn't cover

feels like they're trying to sell you an afterservice which you will most likely never use lol

and its cheaper to get warranty extensions for HP/acer/compaq from their sites from what i've seen (not sure about other manufacturers though)

Laptop Warranty Packs - Acer Direct

looks like you can

but look at their accidental damage cover plan, its cheaper
and about wat i wrot above, the only falling i can imagine is wen i'm using the lappy and fall asleep and the laptop falls off the bed <---- that must surely count as accidental damage instead of misuse right?

wow, cheaper than techguys

about accidental damage, that should be covered, but better double check with them, Acer.

Fingerprint is a useless feature. I stopped using it after awhile. It works, and it's accurate, but it's just useless, and it works for Windows login only.

i see. but imagine how cool it'd be if you could only open up your laptop (you knw lift the screen) only if your fingerprints matched. tht would've been a cool feature

https://h40039.www4.hp.com/wtyext/newInformation.do
this is compaq's aciidental cover, they include drops and spills

EDIT: this is damn expensive though
