Default AOpen Mini PC

Anyone ever use one of the AOpen lines of mini PC's? This thing is TINY! I really didn't know anything about them until yesterday when I was asked to "get rid" of an MP945-D model. I can't wait to see what this thing is all about. Will follow up ASAP!

I've seen quite a number of Aopen SFFs for sale in my place too. They are pretty good, and some of them can be ordered online.

I actually have 2 of these. One has wireless, both with XP, put seems like the functionallity in terms of OS has been stripped. It looks like they were just used as mini media players. I opened one, only 512MB RAM and 60GB 5400rpm HDD. I'll get CPU-Z in there to see what I really have, c'mon Core 2 .

That's okay actually... It's not as fast as a Core 2 Duo for sure but great for simple computing tasks. Plus it's a cool chip -> low noise, low maintenance, low energy consumption.

Consider using Windows 7. The low system memory will benefit from Windows 7's improved memory management.
