well... but MX500 is so much more expensive for a 'reletively' similar gen of optical mouse!!! dun think it justifies the price difference .. as of now at least

Yeah, I agree with that. But apparently, someone doesn't...

Even with the additional dpi, there's no difference between the 2 mice, unlike the Boomslang, which was very sensitive. That's why I have no regrets getting my V3. It's comfortable, rubber grip, and my thumb lands on the table, unlike the Logitech series. The only reason to get Logitech is the shape of the mouse. Nothing else.

sub-RM 50 mouse are like A4Tech and Creative. A4Tech the shape ah, i see it's same like MS mices la. more or less same kinda look. at least the Logitech are different from MS in looks.

btw i don't like the FEEL of A4Tech mice.
