Not really a good idea, unless you use a very good glue...

actually the RM 3 type of sponge pad is good enough. too bad it gathers dirt and sweat easily.

if u read properly.. there's a surface on top of it.. the LED is just to make a similar glow like the mouse at the bottom and sides...

I hate bright LEDS shining at my face, lucky the MS mouse is covered by my palm when using!

trust me, one u try one... u'll always want to have one!

so far, i've seen and tried the ratpadz gen. 1, func surface and Jeremy's Everglide...

those all all very nice mouse surfaces..... still hoping to get one in the near future...
