Handphones use surface mount LED, not suitable for your glowpad mod. You can easily find 3mm and 5mm super bright LED at Jln Pasar.

BLUE PRINT!? we aren't making a rocket man!
it's very easy only la..
get one plexi with the size you like, bring it home, if you like round edge then you sand it with sandpaper. Drill some holes. connect the LEDs to the USB cable (need a resistor to bring down the voltage from 5v to donnoV -> need to find out the LED's V first ). glue one surface on it. Done.

if you still insist on having a blur-print first..here..

Are you sure you can just use a resistor?

I thought the LED have to be placed at all four corners

i think zhue just simply draft out a 'blue print' to state how easy it's to be made... LOL...

hmm i think one resistor could do the trick IF the stepdown is not too much... otherwise, better get multiple resistors.

Nope. Don't have too. In fact, it's ugly to place at all four corners.

Wow, you bought Func? I don't really like the mouse pad. Very fragile feel, because the rubber base is too soft. If your table is not flat, it may not work well with Func.
