Reputation: 3574   Rep Power: 75 |  Reviving computer closes applications? Hmm.. I've noticed something odd with my BenQ Joybook 7000 notebook. I set it to turn off the monitor after 1 hour. That's it. The hard disk does not go to sleep and it doesn't go into Suspend mode or Hibernation. Moving the mouse or typing a key will immediately turn the monitor back on. However, whenever I do that, the currently active application closes! If I have Outlook as the active application when I leave the notebook idle, reviving the monitor after the screensaver comes on automatically closes Outlook!  Anyone with a similar experience? I wonder if it's a bug with QPower, BenQ's proprietary power management utility.
