Still using SP1, I'm one of the paranoids as well. Will continue using until the next time I format my pc.

I run SP2 with the firewall and stuff disabled.

As for IE incompatibilites, I could care less as I don't use it. I'm always so surprised when you guys say that you use IE. I mean you guys aren't noobs and are good with computers, and yet you keep using crappy, low-security software.

Yeah, I'm a noob. I don't like Firefox. I've been using IE since IE4, and 99% of the sites out there works with IE despite having less features. I also prefer IE (Maxthon) because it's highly tweakable to my liking.

I have some problems trying to make a slipstream-ed SP2 CD workable...

Oh yeah, I don't really bother about security either, heck, I don't even have any firewall!

Like Dashken said - paranoid. I like my comfort zone. Don't want to take the risk of SP2 screwing up all my settings and having to reconfigure all that crap.

Well, IE is actually pretty good if you use software like maxthon, etc. So far no problem and I actually like maxthon more now. I converted from firefox to maxthon. Raw IE just cannot make it anymore... I mean without tabs, wtf?
