If it's for a chip on a motherboard, we need to know the motherboard make and model...
Otherwise, Silicon Image states that it is currently not supported.

On the 32bit version the XP-driver should work anyway ...

Do not install via setup but device-manager (just use the driver of the pack).

Ah, got it, you're in need of a setup-driver for Vista-installation. ^^
Pliz ppl, be more accurate in what you're asking for.

So it's the 32bit¹ version of Vista's Beta for sure?
If so, try using Windows Server 2003's 32bit driver instead.

¹ .. otherwise its 64bit driver of course.

Ed.:
Ok, cuz you're on SocketA it can only be 32bit. ^^

OK
The package (on floppy) includes both xp and 2003 server drivers;
When I load the driver , during setup ,a long list appears with 3112
drivers ....

What to choose ?

Are you sure that sil 3112 driver (2003 server 32 bit ) is good ?

Just try it, the only "bad" thing that could happen is that the setup would not go on. ^^

It's not working ...

I've already installed vista on a different station (it has a new look , IE tabs , different folders options , etc )... I was very curios how it performs on my system ... but it seems I have no chance
