Here we go AGAIN...

Does this forum have an eject seat? minimum IQ?

Hey drab while we are busy coming up with help and advice for some of these wonderful posts, I thought it was cool that your in Espana.

My sister in law is from a little town north of Madrid called Guadillix de la Sierra. I was there in 1992 for the 500 year columbus anniversary and olympics, also spent time in Allicante...

Beautiful place man!

CleanSerious5, if you have reformatted your HDD to include NTFS, then I am sad to say that Win98 cannot live on the same drive. This is because Win98 runs on FAT32.

My advice is to continue on using WinXP and troubleshoot your problem.

installation of Windows must be in order from the OLDEST to the LATEST

3 basic groups

1.DOS
2.Win95/98/ME
3.WinNT/2k/XP

installation order is 1 then 2 then 3

more detailed install order..

DOS > WIN95 > WIN98 > WINME > WINNT > WIN2K > WINXP

it is possible to install windows XP then win2k .. or windows XP then windows 98 ... but on different partitions..

possible...
i did is winXP then win2K ...

nvr try winXP then win98 .. but possible.. only that the win98 partition must be FAT32... & it cannot read the a NTFS partition..

you'll need to replace 2 files for winXP after you install win2K ...
so always back up your NTLDR & NTDETECT.COM before insatlling win2k ...

troubleshoot ur winXP .. even .my mobo cant support XP very well ...
just play with the bios.. disable some BIOS option that can cause winXP to get BSOD..
