MSN will Not sign me in...

i have a problem with MSN messenger 7.5
it will never ever sign me in.

the error report says
sorry we were unable to sign you in MSN messenger try again later

masn has made several failed attempts.. and says that the firewall may be blocking msn Messenger and it gives me error code 80044820
i have mc Affe Security Center and the firewall is set to Allow MSN messenger and Windows DFirewall is turned off....

why is it not allowing me to sign in

dfo you guys have a solution to this problem

try turning off your firewall ..

if still cannot sign in ..

try signing it with a friends account ...
see if your friends account will sign in on your pc ..

Could it be the connection problem?
Coz like me i cannot sign in during night coz eveyone is busy playing Counter strike and the connection becomes unstable for MSN..

Make sure time and date is set properly.. I couldn't connect once coz of it...

Can you connect before this, using the same settings and system? Because I always have this kind of problem sometimes.

And it connects me after a few hours.

Yeah make sure time and date is set right, i once made a mistake on this and couldnt sign in at all, till i figured that out

are you using Windows XP? updated with sp2? maybe try downgrading to msn 6.2. at my office i'm using WinXP sp1 and will have problems connecting with msn versions above 6.2.

do u use other chat programs like skype, yahoo messenger? same problem?
