Default Want to increase Icon Display Size At High Resolutions

The problem I'm having is similar to that experienced when you increase the Windows desktop resolution & the icons become miniscule except there is no option to easily increase the icon size.I have a few older games that thru the marvels of modern graphics cards can now run at their top resolution.
I will use Airfix Dogfighter as an example. If I run the game at 2048x1536 the ammo amount & directions are unreadable. Is there a folder I can delve into & increase the icon sizes in this particular game? Maybe even a utility for such a purpose.
If there is no utility,I'm betting there is an ever increasing need for one!

Nope, it's not possible.

Like chai mentioned, it's not possible unless the game has such an option to increase the font/icon size.

Of course you can increase the size: Just get yourself a much larger monitor!

Cheers

Nah, it's too small! I'd recommend at least 34" with that resolution.
(Tandberg have some nice 34" CRT monitors weighing in at some 90kg each... )

Cheers

Most games have fixed "HUD" so it doesn't scale down when you increase the resolution except for older games. This is true for FPS games.

Nowadays, there would be a market for a program that could scale up the icon size, as the resolution increases.I'm sure it could be done, cause it's barely readable on my Sony 21".
It would be great if John Carmack or someone of his calibre came across this post & got bored one weekend.
