Javascript on Internet Explorer does not work at all

hey guyz,

my friend laptop has a serious problem...

Javascript totally wont work ... not coding error ..

Settings are correct.. the Active Scripting is enabled
Tried reinstalling IE but same results...

help?

rather interesting .. Help & Support doesnt work ..

i tried installing Windows Script 5.6 & it works now

Hmmm something must have disabled/removed the windows scripting engine that compiles and runs vb/java scripts in windows.. weird though. At first it sounded like a firewall/spyware problem.
