I find it aphalling that NVIDIA still hasn't made an official driver diskette that you need to install nvraid and nvata for the x64 platform... I had to make my own.... I haven't really played around with this yet because I just managed to get it running 15mins ago (more than 3 hours gone woot!) and I am really happy its up. Something I noticed right off the bat was that my AV software is incompatible. Norton and Symantec dont have support for x64 OS yet (except the Symantec Corporate Edition v10 x64.) So after reading up on it, Avast AV is one of the few (we're talking about half a dozen av softwares here) that actually can run on windows x64. So far though, I like it. I'll post more on this later. SHower and lunch time... P.S: I'm posting from Firefox (64bit Deer Park Alpha 2) right now.

I found that weird since the motherboard was clearly for a 64-bit processor so obviously I'd be installing XP64. But isn't the new vista already 64-bit? So, theoretically, everything should be 64-bit ready when that eventually comes out?

I mean NVIDIA still hasnt made a proper boot disk to install nvraid and nvata thats required when you install windows (unless u compiled a windows cd that has em on it.) Creative finally made x64 drivers for the Audigy 2 ZS recently. I have to look everywhere for certain drivers (like my printer driver that works if its connected to my pc but doesnt work as a network printer.) Another example of this is Macromedia hasn't made anything for x64. So when I browse using the x64 browsers (IE6 x64 or Firefox x64) it wont display flash. Symantec still hasn't made anything for x64 except its latest corporate AV (good luck getting ur hands on that.) Apart from that, it is very solid.
