Hmm.. Multitasking should not be a problem unless it involves a lot of hard disk writes...

I don't know. I have no problem working on something like Excel or Dreamweaver while writing DVDs.

I have a lot of problems especially using Maxthon. 99% buffer under run unless I stop using it.

Hmm... Not sure if it's a problem but I think I read that Maxthon has a CPU usage problem with some scripts. Need to disable something to prevent it...

My DVD-RW shares with my DVD-Rom. But everything has independent timings as long as nothing is being red off my DVD-Rom, and I only use one or the other.
As for the HDD, it's weird because it's very fast and I defrag the partition I burn stuff off of before I write anything.
If I go to a slower speed, the same thing happens, plus I want to use 16X all the way!

Nothing to do with Maxthon, but since I can't do anything heavy, I normally just surf net when burning CD. If I try to work on Photoshop or HTML editing...I think the burning time will be doubled!

1. I don't know how this got put into the Games area. I don't remember posting it in here, but it can be moves to the General Software area.

2. It's interesting... I got my replacement 512MB stick of ram in (Putting me to 1GB total) and now I can do any basic stuff at the same time and my buffer stays full. I wonder why Nero got sent to the page file...
