Windows Problem?

I dunno but I am guessing my windows have error... at first my programme cannot be run not all but games... and even some setup files like AVG Antivirus programme... so i try to format my computer... but i encounter another problem again... when I insert my CD and let it run until the screen where there is two options.. one is repair and another one is installing a fresh copy... when i choose the second option it reply me that it didn't found my hard disc... even other option also coming out with the same result.. by the way I am using SATA HDD.... please help me >.<"

the setup didnt find your HD , i guess it is because u didnt install the sata driver ? Which sata u using ? pls list out your hardware so other ppl able to help you out easier.

Yeah, sounds like you didn't load the SATA driver.

If you attached your hard drive to a separate SATA controller (even if it's actually part of your motherboard), you need to install its driver during the Windows XP installation process.

When you boot up using the CD, it will ask if you need to load any drivers. Insert the floppy disk containing the driver and press F6. That will load the driver from the floppy disk.
