I'm using Symantec AV myself. Seems to work very well. Definitely less resource-intensive than Norton AV.

haha i used to use Norton, but i got fed up paying likr 50 bucks a year to subscribe, so I just got AVG

Used to use Mcaffee (school price with 1 year update = $10, at that price, who wouldn't !) now i'm currently using Kaspersky

i'm studying in a singapore University
anyway, its usually 1 version below the latest eg, if the latest version is 10, then they're sellin 9 @ $10, which is still a good deal, as long as i can get the latest virus signatures/updates
