Default Registry Cleaner Software 2006 [Poll]

Every so and then, you would install softwares that you then would uninstall quite hastely. Once uninstalled, you would think that all the files of that software were deleted, but many software do not offer an adequate uninstaller and will leave many remains in the registry, the heart of your system. With time, your registry will get bloated, filled with invalid keys and such, and will become an nuisance to your system performance. Well, thanks to registry cleaners, your nightmares are over

lol ok whatever with the intro, what's your registry cleaner?

I use RegSeeker, powerfull freeware that gets the job done

Well it really depends on your PC activities. For example, if you are known to install a heap of software on your computer, and later uninstalling it, it is highly possible that your registry is full of invalid keys, such as from the software (links to it's exe's and settings). This can have a huge impact on your system because the registry is sorf of like the streets of your computer. If there are more keys (streets), then it is much harder to reach a destination. By consequence, accessing files and system responsiveness may suffer. Using a registry cleaner in this situation is very, very helpful.

Plus, registry cleaner can delete some invalid keys that might make errors in Windows, which is fantastic. However, you must be very vigilant when using a registry cleaner because there is always a possibility that the software might delete an invalid key, that might actually be an important one to the system. It has not happen to me before though.

In the end, registry cleaning is sort of like system junk cleaning, you don't really need to do it, but if you want to pull every juice out of your system, then it's fun to do it. I suggest you try it before your next format, just to see if it boosts your performance.

(sorry for the long post )
