Depending on how many tasks are running on your system, your RAM could either be barely used or nearly completely being used. Try opening the Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and seeing how many tasks are running (shown in the lower left corner). The average clean computer has about 30 tasks running, while your normal computer has about 40 and a severely loaded computer may have over 50 tasks running. There are also many malware or adware programs that simulate the "Low Vitual Memory" error. You could always download a free spyware detection tool such as Windows Defender or Spy Sweeper. I would like to know more about your system as well; such as O/S and amount of RAM.

Just so you know, we have a very good article about virtual memory here at rojak, read it here and all your questions will be answered: http://www.rojakpot.com/showarticle....tno=143&pgno=0 Have fun
