I'm saying Outlook is part of the MS Office standard package.

Very exposed? Not really, there's been a few patches for it though.

Windows XP actually comes with a lite version of the Office Outlook e-mail client, called Outlook Express.

I know, but he didn't mention Outlook Express. I was using Outlook Express for a number of years before.
