Default Speedfan...is it accurate?

hi all...my 1st post here hope i'm posting in the right thread

recently ran in-depth analysis 4 my hdd using speedfan...got 2 errors and few 'normal state' bar(if u know what i mean )

so my question is, is speedfan accurate enough in analysing my hdd's condition?i mean my hdd is running fast and quite...but why so many errors?is my hdd dying?

thanks

SMART monitoring tool is not exactly accurate. But you can use it as an indication. If I were you, I would start buying a new HDD and backup anything important first.

Agreed! A few years ago, my SMART monitoring thing told me my main hard drive was going bad and I should replace it. A week later the warning was gone and, even today, my hard drive is still running with no coasters
