Default Installing XP and ME in a computer

Hi!

How to install both XP and ME into a computer? My friend has 2 partition. According to him, he installed ME first, then XP in another partition but they do not give him a choice to chose.... like before he formatted his computer.....

However, when he installed XP first then ME, he is not given a choice to choose also... Please advice.....

Not my choice, it is my friend's choice and my friend is asking me for help desperately. Well, that is the only 2 OS he got maybe. Well, I would appreciate if anyone here can teach on how. Thank you.

Install ME first, then XP on the same partition. This should give you the option to dual boot.

dun la so emo..
why so on form la chill!

you MUST install ME first. once you get it done, insert the XP disc while you are running it and you will be given the option to dual boot. DO NOT INSTALL XP via cd-rom boot up. that will overide the MBR and hence, TAK ADA DUAL BOOT LA..

Thanks you all of you first of all. As for you brader, I do not quite really understand what are you trying to present on the sentence which I highlight in Blue.

From what I understand, you say, install ME first, then install XP in another partition right?? How to install XP without the XP Cd-rom? I dun understand, dun tell me while in ME, we insert the cd rom and install in the other partition?

Thank you.
