i just downloaded windows live messenger and i cant seem to get connected!

i've been using the older version and it always worked..why cant i get connected???

anyone has the same issues?

I always cant connect if my date and time is set wrong...

But I've been using Windows Live Messenger for a while now.

Problematic. I still don't like MSN. My connection status is always "connection error" even though it's working fine.

And I hate the ads, keep getting IE scripting error!

Never like MSN, never will. But I'm forced to use...sigh.

ICQ is really far more reliable as an IM. Messages can go missing just like that. While I use Miranda, I get notification if the message didn't get thru, fairly accurate.
