Default Windows Registry

Hello guys.

I have a question about windows registry, if someone who are expert pls help.

The question is:
I want to change the registry value for some windows setting for example like langauge bar which is located at taskbar. Why after i change the registry value, windows doesn't act immediatelly according to the value i changed? Why it need to restart after that windows will follow the registry value which according to my changed.

Possible to make if i want the windows act immediatelly after i change the registry value? How?

Thanks for help!

Please correct me somebody if I'm wrong, but as far as I know the registry is read into the RAM (system memory) during startup, and that's about it for OS related stuff. The OS get it's data from the system memory.

Some non-OS applications might read directly from the registry when they're started but that's just about the only exception.

Cheers
Olle

i'm thinking the same as Olle..

if it were to change immediately your windows would chash instantly when you are editting the values
