Taskbar Error.... (Win XP, I hate you!)

I've got this random error thing with my task bar again.

It was working an hour ago but it seems to be mucking up. Tried doing a system restore, but it doesn't work this time....

Is there a way to fix this (Now permanent.) problem?

I not sure this way it works or not... you can try

1. make sure you lock your taskbar
2. Restart the explorer.exe process
Monitor for a while see how it goes

Take a try?

go to taskbar.. see if there is any process using up your CPU .. rotfl ...

i dont like system restore.. prefer system file checker ..

Unlock the taskbar, try to move the quick launch bar down, then it should be back to normal. It's due to the Quick launch bar.

All you need to do is just resize the quick launch section back to normal and then lock it once and for all

Tried resizing it (Up, down, left & right.)...

Looks like the Quick Launch toolbar is dominating. I disabled it & ended up losing the %^$&%#$##!!!!! task bar.
